Dr. Derek Seib is an American Board of Internal Medicine credentialed Physician with a wealth of experience in providing comprehensive healthcare to patients. With a deep commitment to optimizing wellness and vitality, he now serves as the Medical Director of the Asheville Testosterone Clinic. Dr. Seib has distinguished himself with his inquisitive and meticulous nature that gives personalized attention to each of his patients.
Dr. Seib earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he demonstrated exceptional dedication to medical excellence. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. There, he honed his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions both in the inpatient and outpatient setting with a particular interest and emphasis in both Infectious Disease and Endocrinology.
Dr. Seib developed an interest in the benefits of proper hormonal balance after being alarmed by consistent, steady decline of the average adult males’ Testosterone level over the past 50+ years. Unfortunately, the cause of the uniform decline is not entirely clear, but, based on recent studies, the downward trend cannot be fully by current lifestyle trends as once believed. Now, Dr. Seib has fully focused his attention on treating each patient based on their specific symptoms to provide cutting edge results and get the patient back to a more youthful and vigorous state.
